Reality Based Comfort

Comfort and discomfort is sometimes how I interpret how my life is at the moment, though I know emotions and feelings come and go sometimes. I have contemplative walks or journaling with art and poetry to find the balance and insight again. I refer to these emotions as Energy in Motion. Sometimes the greatest benefit seems to come out of facing courageously an uncomfortable situation. I learn something by facing it and journaling and dialoging in this way. I see this whole process connecting me to ultimate reality, which seems both inner and outer.

I created a feelings wheel from a longer list of feelings to give me a bird’s eye image of how I’m relating to my feelings. This helped me to gain perspective on them.
